Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This is Arukai’s store-specific supplemental privacy disclosure. Shopify separately maintains this store’s automatically managed Privacy Policy. Read both pages together: Shopify’s policy describes Shopify’s platform practices, while this page explains store-specific context. Shopify manages its policy automatically; this supplemental page does not replace or edit it.

Quick summary

We use information to operate the store, process orders and payments, arrange delivery, respond to customer requests, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Shopify hosts the store. A payment provider, carrier, map provider, or other service provider may receive information when used for the relevant function. Analytics, advertising, pixels, and retargeting tools may be present only if enabled; their current installation and operation have not been fully verified. Available rights and controls depend on your location. Use the Your Privacy Choices page or contact support@arukai.com.

Information we collect and sources

Depending on how you interact with the store, information may include contact and delivery details; account information; order, payment-status, return, cancellation, and support records; products viewed, cart or wishlist activity, and preferences you provide; communications; and device, browser, network, IP address, identifiers, log, and site-usage information.

Information may come directly from you when you browse, check out, create an account, contact us, or request a return; automatically from your device, browser, cookies, and site interactions; from Shopify and other providers that support checkout, payment, delivery, communications, or customer service; and from partners or other third parties where they provide information for a store-related purpose.

Purposes and legal context

We use information to provide the store and requested services; process and administer orders and payments; arrange shipping, tracking, cancellations, returns, and refunds; respond to questions; personalize or improve the store; maintain security and detect or prevent fraud; communicate about service or marketing where permitted; and comply with legal obligations or protect rights. We use information for analytics, targeted advertising, retargeting, or similar measurement only if the relevant tools are enabled and subject to applicable choices and law.

Shopify and service providers

Shopify provides the commerce platform and related services. Information may be shared with payment services, carriers, return-label services, hosting and cloud providers, analytics or advertising providers, communications and customer-support tools, and fulfillment providers when those providers are engaged for the relevant purpose. The specific third-party apps, pixels, advertising partners, analytics services, carrier, and return-label vendors currently active have not all been verified. We will not name a provider as active without verification. Providers may process information under their own notices and service terms.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganization or transfer subject to applicable safeguards. Shopify may process information for its own platform purposes as described in its automatically managed policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential technologies support checkout, cart, security, and core store functions. Preference technologies remember settings or choices. Analytics technologies, if enabled, measure store use and performance. Advertising technologies, if enabled, may measure campaigns, personalize advertising, or support retargeting. The Shopify privacy banner is currently automatically managed but reported as disabled in the available settings readback; no banner-based preference interface was verified. We could not inspect app installations or web pixels because the required read permissions were unavailable. This means the current presence or absence of optional analytics and advertising tools is not confirmed.

Use Shopify’s native Your Privacy Choices opt-out page where available, and read the Shopify policy for platform details. The control’s regional availability and configured consent regions were not fully verified. You can also send a request through our privacy request page.

Maps and external links

The Contact page directly embeds a Google map for the business correspondence address. When the map loads, Google may receive browser, device, IP address, and request information. Google processes information under its own privacy terms. External links and services have separate privacy practices.

Retention, security, children, and international processing

We retain information as needed for the purposes described above, including order administration, tax and accounting records, customer support, disputes, security, and legal obligations. Exact retention periods by record type have not been independently documented in the available store evidence. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards; no online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Shopify and service providers may process information in locations outside your state or country; the exact processing locations for all providers have not been verified.

Privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may be able to request confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information; opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; and appeal a denied request. Some rights apply only when a law covers the business and the particular information. We have not verified whether any specific state-law threshold applies to this store.

Shopify’s Customer Privacy features may honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) in regions configured for applicable sale or sharing opt-outs. The available settings readback did not reveal the exact configured region-level controls, so we cannot confirm every location or signal configuration. Where applicable law requires it, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals for covered processing.

How to submit a request

Use the native Shopify opt-out form for sale or sharing opt-outs where available. For access, correction, deletion, portability, other opt-outs, or an appeal, use the Your Privacy Choices page or email support@arukai.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. Include the email address associated with the relevant order or account and your state of residence. Do not send a full payment card number, security code, password, or verification code.

We may request information reasonably needed to authenticate the request and locate relevant records. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law; we may request proof of authority and may verify the consumer directly as permitted. We aim to respond within 45 days. Where additional time is reasonably needed, we will explain the reason and expected timing; we will follow any shorter or different deadline required by applicable law. If we deny a request and an appeal right applies, reply with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject. We will review an appeal and provide a written decision within 60 days, or sooner if applicable law requires; where required, the response will explain how to contact the relevant regulator after an appeal denial. These are store response standards and do not represent a determination that a particular statute applies to every requester.
